Inspired by nature, Xu Hou group at Xiamen University first proposed the concept of "Liquid GatingMechanism" and gradually perfected its theoretical framework, leading tothe development of liquid gating technology. As research progressed, liquidgating technology demonstrated excellent properties, such as anti-fouling,energy-saving, and anti-corrosion in laboratory studies, offering potentialsolutions to key challenges in membrane technology and other fields.
