This latest model of instrument 'GIFT-E1 Pro' was launched in July 2024. Developed, designed and manufactured by the support of Hou Lab, the world's first commercialized instrument GIFT-001 is based on the liquid gating mechanism. It is used for testing, analysis and characterization of fluid transport physicochemical behaviors at confined solid-liquid-gas interfaces. It can be applied to study solid/liquid/gas interfacial physicochemical properties in micro confined systems, particularly the competitive dynamics of confined interfacial tensions in multiphase fluids. By integrating artificial intelligence and big data analytics, it can analyze experimental data simultaneously. This instrument can provide in-situ, real-time, and continuous monitoring and characterization of key parameters of gating liquid and solid porous matrix, such as interfacial tension, pore size, and interface charge. Additionally, it can achieve specific detection of trace substances through the design of gating liquids. There are 29 associated patents in total, among which 7 are core authorized ones.
